For this garden flat renovation in the De Beauvoir Conservation Area, we guided the project from initial feasibility studies through planning, technical design, construction and handover, providing a seamless service from concept to completion.
Our involvement included:
- Planning & Design – Designing a contemporary rear extension and internal reconfiguration that responded sensitively to the character of the Conservation Area, alongside carefully considered details including replacement conservation-style windows, railings and sustainable drainage landscaping.
- Technical Design – Producing a comprehensive technical package for the rear extension and internal alterations, while coordinating with the structural engineer, waterproofing consultant and party wall surveyor to ensure the project was fully integrated before construction.
- Contract Administration – Administering the building contract throughout construction, monitoring quality, programme and compliance to help deliver the project in accordance with the approved planning permission and Building Regulations.
