We are delighted to share a recent planning success for our residential project in Beckenham, in the London Borough of Bromley.
For this project, we secured approval through two complementary planning routes to unlock maximum potential for our clients:
1. Lawful Development Certificate (LDC):
- Loft conversion with a rear dormer
- Front rooflights
- Demolition and replacement of a rear garden outbuilding
2. Prior Approval (Larger Home Extension):
- A 4-metre single-storey rear extension under Permitted Development rights
Beyond navigating the planning framework, the real transformation happens inside. By reconfiguring Level 00 to incorporate a dedicated utility room and WC, we are creating a seamless flow that balances functional day-to-day requirements with light-filled, open-plan living.
With RIBA Stages 0–3 now successfully wrapped up, our focus turns to Stage 4: Technical Design and Building Control submission to get everything ready for construction.
