We’re pleased to share that we’ve been appointed on an exciting new project in St Albans, where we’ll be undertaking a feasibility study and pre-application enquiry to explore the replacement of an existing dwelling.
The site is located within a Conservation Area and includes Listed Buildings, making a careful and informed approach essential. Our work will involve detailed research into the local architectural character, relevant planning policies and heritage considerations to help shape a sensitive and well-considered proposal.
Engaging early with St Albans City and District Council through the pre-application process allows valuable feedback to be incorporated at an early stage. This approach is strongly advised for sensitive sites and helps improve the chances of a successful planning outcome when it comes to the full planning application.
